While growing up in Toronto, Canada she developed a deep appreciation and great passion for music and entertainment. At an age when music and entertainment was just a passing hobby for most children, Tacquira was honing the artistry that has now brought her to the forefront of the industry. She grew up in a nurturing home where her mother was very supportive and encouraged her to achieve her dreams. She drew great inspiration from what her mother taught her about the joys, struggles, and artistic integrity required making it in this industry. All the while her mother's constant support soothed her soul and strengthened her spirit, motivating her to reach greatness.

Like many in the music industry, Tacquira got her start in singing at church. But unlike most, she didn't immediately recognize her true passion. At such a tender age, she has achieved already so much in the industry. As she matured artistically, she made a name for herself as a model and actress in Toronto, Canada. This growth, led to many influential people who enabled her to realize her passion for singing. Additionally, through a joint venture with Michael Antonio Footwear Group, Michael Antonio Shoes, Tacquira was named one of the new faces and Muse for the shoe line. She will be appearing in the '08/ '09 Ads. Tacquira plans to expand even further into film and television in the near future.
