Nikki Alexander, who is quite popular now, is a mix of African-American and Italian background. She is very athletic, which she gained from playing basketball frequently in her hometown, Michigan.

She started her career in modeling in Eye Candy Modeling, who then was able to get an oppotunity in her first music video with Will Smith.

As she gained more exposure she was part of Flava flave's show "Flavor Of Love".

This show has got her a big fan base, and that is where she got her nick-name "Hoopz".And not only that, Nikki has starred in multiple tv commercials, and makes an appearance in Mekhi Phifer's upcoming movie "Easier, Softer Way."In 2005 her cyber space popularity earned her a feature in KING Magazine as their web girl of the month, 2005. Later that year she was selected for yet another print feature in the much anticipated EyeCandyModeling.com & Big Tigger's 2006 Kittens Calendar.
